The story of Graystone Manor
For eighty years, this exquisite 18-room manor house in Perrysburg, Ohio overlooked the Maumee River, occupying the estate called Graystone. Built in 1927 for Carrie Ross Ford, widow of Libbey-Owens-Ford's Edward Ford, a glass industry titan.
Just prior to what some would call a capricious demolition in 2008, a local architectural salvage company was allowed to remove a number of artifacts, including a complete set of ceramic accessories. Faithfully reproduced for the Subway Ceramics collection, these Graystone acessories are now available in all of our glaze options.
