The sculptural nature of these accessory reproductions takes them beyond the simply functional. Used extensively from the early 1920's, these glazed ceramic accessory elements were designed to be either tiled-in (flush) or recessed into the wall.
These accessories from Subway Ceramics are made in the original slip-cast method from molds produced from original accessory pieces. Like the originals, they may have some variations, as is the nature of any hand-cast ceramic object, and these variations contribute to their inherent beauty and character. Accessories can be glazed in any of the glaze options offered in the Subway Ceramics collection.
